Methods of Numerical Analysis

Topics will include number systems and errors, solutions of polynomial and other nonlinear equations, interpolation, numerical differentiation and integration, and the cubic spline. ***Prerequisite: MATH 111, MATH 122, and one of CS 110, CS 165, or STAT 165.*** *Note: Students will receive credit for only one of CS 261 or MATH 261.*
