CONCEPTS OF CATALYSIS
This course will cover concepts of catalysis, including classes of catalytic materials and their synthesis, structure, and characterization. This course will consider broad forms of catalytic research, ranging from heterogeneous and homogeneous materials, which operate using thermal, electrochemical, and photochemical inputs. This course will also survey case studies of catalytic systems in industry and highlight frontier research in these topic areas. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: CHBE 575 . Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CHBE 475 if student has credit for CHBE 575 .
