INTRODUCTION TO SEISMIC INTERPRETATION: STRUCTURAL STYLES AND SEISMIC STRATIGRAPHY
This course will introduce students to analysis of sub-regional structural and stratigraphic frameworks. We will utilize the interpretation of 2D seismic profiles to reconstruct basin history and discuss implications for petroleum systems. Students will gain an understanding of a variety of structural and stratigraphic styles, as expressed on seismic data. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: EEPS 454 . Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EEPS 654 if student has credit for EEPS 454 .
