HIST 368
THE AGE OF ISLAMIC EMPIRE
The Ottoman, Safavid, and Mughal Empires shared a Turco-Mongol Muslim inheritance. Through their rivalries and the influence of their diverse subject populations, each developed distinctive methods for managing imperial success. Even as they dramatically modified their imperial characters, the empires remained culturally united through shared aesthetic, political, and social values. Cross-list: ASIA 368 .
