German Language Cinema

This course will explore German cinema. Learning German through a film is highly effective, as it engages skills and helps learners grasp meaning through authentic visual context, dialogue, and cultural immersion to build vocabulary and improve listening and grammar, especially with tools like subtitles and interactive vocabulary research that support cultural understanding. Credit will be granted for one of GERM 302 or GERM 298 (2021-2022, 2023-2024). Prerequisite: GERM 201. Three credits.
