A philosophical investigation of what it means to be human. Topics include: the relation of brain, body, and consciousness; artificial intelligence, the existence of a soul; immortality; free will; and human knowledge. Prerequisite: PHIL 100 or 101 or 102 or permission of the instructor. Three credits.
