MPF 310
Physical Production
This course forefronts conventional, alternative, and emerging approaches to planning and executing film productions from packaging and pre-production through post-production and delivery. The course foregrounds the importance of effective collaboration and safety in the process. The roles of specific participants in production—namely writer, director, producer, creative heads of department, and below-the-line production and post-production staff—and the division of labour between them will be contextualized within the global processes and objectives of physical production.
