This course builds on the foundation laid in <a href="/content/ryerson/calendar/2026-2027/courses/planning/PLE/795.html" class="qTipCourse" data-url="/content/ryerson/calendar/2026-2027/courses/planning/PLE/795/jcr:content/resCalendarCourseEmbed.json">PLE 795</a> by adding specialized topics and techniques that are deployed by economic development professionals, including entrepreneurship ecosystems, municipal planners and EDP's relationship, business improvement areas and their role in LED and sustainable business succession strategies for communities among other topics.
