Seminar, three hours. Preparation: familiarity with Python and basic statistical analysis. Introduction to advanced machine-learning methods, which can apply to large-scale datasets in different modalities. Students learn how to develop, train, and validate machine-learning models; and to apply to large-scale data in their own research projects. S/U or letter grading.
