Lecture, three hours. Requisite: course 440PE. Study advances knowledge, diagnostic reasoning, and skills for the acute care pediatric advanced practice registered nursing student in the management of infants, children, and adolescents with complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions. Diagnostic-focused study prepares students to apply increasingly advanced interpretive, procedural, and clinical decision-making skills in subsequent pediatric acute care clinical settings.
