ANTH 119R
The Anthropology of Resistance
Examines resistance, refusal, protest, and dissent as central objects of anthropological inquiry, attending to the everyday, collective, and affective dimensions of political action. Drawing on ethnographic work across diverse contexts and historical periods, we explore how resistance takes shape through protest, refusal, sabotage, care, coalitional survival, and alternative forms of sociality.
