Discovery Seminar

Discovery Seminars provide opportunity to learn more about focused subjects with UCSBs distinguished faculty. Each Discovery Seminar will include three faculty from different disciplines who will share with students their perspectives on the subject, and also help students understand how faculty within their disciplines do the work of asking and investigating questions about these subjects. Students in the seminars will both develop their knowledge of the subject, and develop deeper understandings of how learning about disciplinary interests and perspectives can help them to become more effective learners.
