Introduction to Environmental Justice

4 credits

This course examines how people disproportionately impacted by environmental harms mobilize across identities including race and immigration status for environmental justice where they live, work, and play. Drawing on social movements, scientific studies, and legal cases, we will explore theories and practices of race, nature, and climate change.
