Design of Steel Structures I

Load and resistance factor design concept and loadings for structural systems. Structural steel properties and selection. Design of tension members, compression members, beams, beam-columns, simple bolted, and welded connections. Students will not receive credit for both SE 150A and SE 150AR. Prerequisites: SE 130A, SE 110B, and SE 103.
