Analysis and design of wood structures for buildings; response of wood buildings to gravity and lateral loads; design of structural elements: beams, columns, beam-columns, members in tension, and trusses using NDS specifications; connections; plywood panels; diaphragms and shear walls. Prerequisite: ARCH 232 or equivalent.
