Design Thinking & Health Innovation credit:
Explores how human-centered design (HCD) and design thinking address healthcare challenges. Students examine current health innovations through case studies, professional interviews, and research to understand how HCD responds to the needs of patients, caregivers, and healthcare organizations. Working in teams, students apply the HCD process by framing problems, synthesizing research, ideating, prototyping, and testing solutions to develop and refine human-centered healthcare innovations through an iterative, collaborative approach.
