Crip* Temporalities—Crip/Disabled Embodiment and Time-Based Praxes credit:
Performance, film/video, theatre, dance, sound, and other temporally engaged cultural and political modes alter how objects, bodies, and landscapes are activated, supported, imagined, and treated. This course will explore time-based creative/critical methodologies through the embodied frameworks of disability, Crip Theory, and cripistemology. Students will develop bespoke crip* temporalities that respond to dominant discourses of disability and the intersection of performance studies and disability studies. May be repeated.
