Preparing for an Internship credit:

1 Hour

Students will be introduced to the concept of experiential learning and will explore their career goals and interest in an internship, prepare a resume and cover letter, and engage in activities related to professional development and ethical behavior in the field. If students choose to complete an internship for HDFS course credit, they will also pursue and secure that placement through this course. 1 undergraduate hour. No graduate credit. Prerequisite: Requires instructor approval. Restricted to HDFS majors only. Not intended for freshmen students.
