Introduction to Health Technology credit:

3 Hours

Introduces the topic of health technology and provide an opportunity for students to explore the potential benefits and risks associated with new technologies. Students will learn how technology can be used to improve people’s health and support healthier communities, how technology is transforming health care, and how technology can be used to bridge social determinants of health and health inequalities. This course satisfies the General Education Criteria for: Social & Beh Sci - Soc Sci
