Financial Management & Budgeting in RST credit:

Examination of financial needs of organizations in recreation, sport and tourism (RST). Students acquire financial literacy and develop proficiency in financial management and budgeting. Current economic issues, revenue management, budgeting, resource allocation, funding sources, and sustainable economic practices are emphasized. Students develop an ability to critically assess the financial strengths and vulnerabilities of the RST organizations. A comprehensive firm analysis and business plan for an RST organization will be developed in the capstone project.
