Applied Literary Translation I credit:

Focuses on both the theory and the practice of literary translation, as well as the business aspect of how to negotiate a translation proposal through the US publishing market. Students will produce a completed translation of a short story or a selection of poems. Same as CWL 511 , EALC 511 , GER 511 , and SLAV 501 .
