3 ch (3C) (W) · Undergraduate

Learn how anthropologists immerse themselves in a range of cultural settings, participating in everyday life to gain a deeper understanding of local beliefs and practices. Deepen your understanding of how this research method, known as participant observation or ethnographic fieldwork, is applied in a range of activities from community engagement to landscape studies, and from cultural resource management to interpretative studies in museum settings. Students complete practical activities to build skills as beginner ethnographers.
