Current theories of achievement motivation, grounded in practical classroom examples. Our examination is research oriented, ranging from a micro level of analysis (e.g., individual case studies) to a macro level of analysis (e.g., school structures). A central issue is how teachers and counsellors can understand and foster students’ motivation for school learning.
