Timber Harvest Planning and Operations

This course provides students with an understanding of operational practices in timber harvest planning and implementation. Topics focus on supply chain flow: planning (operational and strategic); field operations and permitting; operations including logging, hauling and road building; and finally manufacturing and marketing. This course has mandatory field trips. Prerequisite(s): 60 credit hours Preclusion(s): FSTY 498-3 (when offered as Forest Planning and Operations)
