Advanced Public Speaking: Speaking in Community
This course provides hands-on experience in public communication, focusing on real-world impact within the Chapel Hill community. Through this collaboration, students will explore the structural challenges facing the local community, develop tailored communication strategies, and create deliverables to enhance the nonprofit's outreach. In addition to preparing public presentations, students will represent the nonprofit in public speaking engagements, gaining practical experience in advocacy and community engagement.
