Planetary Geology: Meteorites and Asteroids

Required preparation, one introductory geology course numbered below EMES 202 , except first-year seminar. Effects and probable effects of meteorite and asteroid impacts on earth and other planets: craters, new meteorites, and tektites; giant sea waves; reduction of species and extinction of organisms.
