Nutrition and Cancer: Insights for Prevention and Treatment

This course covers emerging research on the interplay of nutrition, physical activity and cancer from a multidisciplinary perspective. Students will gain a solid scientific basis to better weigh and interpret the information available on nutrition and cancer while further developing skills in presenting and discussing emerging research focused on the links between cancer and a range of diet-related exposures (including obesity, micronutrients, dietary patterns, meat intake, coffee consumption, dietary supplements, and alcohol) and physical activity in relation to the development, progression, treatment and survivorship of the most common types of cancer.
