Machine Design II
This course is a continuation of ME 314.3 - Machine Design. This course applies fundamental knowledge regarding failure prevention (acquired from ME 314.3) to design specific mechanical elements, including: gears; brake systems (band, pad); drive systems (flat, v-belt, chain); wire ropes; bolts/rivets; and welds.

Weekly hours: 1.5 Lecture hours and 1.5 Practicum/Lab hours Prerequisite(s): ME 314.3 Restriction(s): Only open to mechanical engineering students.
