This course provides an advanced treatment of electromagnetic waves in matter, electromagnetic radiation, and relativistic electrodynamics.

Weekly hours: 3 Lecture hours Prerequisite(s): PHYS 356. Note: First offered in 2014-2015. Students may receive credit for only one of PHYS 816 or PHYS 456.
