PhD Research Colloquium

The Graduate Colloquium meets weekly from September to April. Papers are presented by graduate students, faculty, and visiting scholars. The colloquium exposes students to a wide range of conceptual and substantive issues that reflect the breadth and depth of environmental research. Attendance and participation in the colloquium is strongly encouraged throughout the degree program. Students receive 3 units of pass/fail credit during their first year. Students are required to make presentations of their own research.
