Critical engagement with empirical studies of instructional methods, materials and strategies across key domains (speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, technology-mediated learning, assessment). Real-world experience in developing language learner profiles, evaluating teaching tools and resources and designing and testing lessons tailored to diverse newcomer communities.
