Examines current research on additional language learning, especially as relevant to Indigenous language learning and teaching. Explores the processes related to developing proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing Indigenous languages. Explores concepts and common terms, as well as important differences from and similarities to other foci within the broader field of additional language learning.
