Theoretical and hands-on exploration of critical issues and challenges in second/additional language assessment. Intensive understanding of how language proficiency and performance are assessed as well as strategies and expertise to develop, critically evaluate and make principled modifications to assessment tools in key language domains, in order to meet diverse learner needs across different learning and testing contexts.
