Candidacy Examination

The candidacy requirement must be satisfied within three years of registration in the doctoral program (see Faculty Academic Regulations ). The candidacy requirement may be satisfied by successfully completing either two written candidacy examinations or one candidacy paper. The supervisory committee and the student decide collaboratively which option to choose.
