Explores the principles of physics, as seen through the lens of science fiction media. Critical analysis of depictions of physics in television and movies, and discussion of how to produce more accurate representations of nature. Emphasis on the physics of motion, energy, heat, and waves, as well as nuclear and particle physics. Focusses on conceptual understanding of the physical world; a non-mathematical approach.
