PhD Candidacy Examination

Students enrol in PHYS 693 during their preparation for the candidacy examination. This begins at the time a student first enrols in the PhD program and continues until candidacy requirements have been completed. The candidacy examination is to be completed no later than two years after the student first registers in the PhD program, or, for students who transfer from MSc to PhD, no later than three years after the student first registers in the MSc program.
