Electrostatics, magnetostatics, dielectric and magnetic materials, Maxwell's equations and applications to radiation, relativistic formulation. PHY 339 is taught in the second half of the fall semester, following PHY 337 . These should be taken in sequence. P- PHY 114 or 124 , MTH 113 and MTH 205 or 251 . (D)
