Reviews major race frameworks used in educational research such as critical race theory, Afropessimism, cultural studies perspectives, Whiteness studies, etc. Explores the intellectual history and core concepts of these frameworks, by reading both foundational, primary source academic literature and speculative fiction that applies ideas from the frameworks.
