Educational Leadership for Social Change

Introduces students to historical trends and ongoing debates surrounding leadership in educational spaces. Students learn how to apply a critical lens to what leadership is (and is not) and discuss how to move towards more equitable educational opportunities and outcomes. Explores a variety of leadership approaches, culminating in a discussion of what justice-based leadership might look like.
