Advanced Topics in Linear Algebra I

Examines the fundamental concepts of linear algebra. Covers geometry of norms, basic properties of linear mappings, behavior of projections, and compositions of different projections. Emphasizes eigenvalues and their properties, and the behavior of eigenvectors. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 3.5 in MATH 318; and a minimum grade of 3.5 in MATH 425.
