Leading and Managing High-Performance Organizations

Focuses on the nature and function of effective leadership in high-performance systems. Includes visionary and transformational leadership, decision-making and empowerment, power and influence in organizations desiring flexibility and innovation, and leading organizational change. Places emphasis on leadership of emerging forms of organization such as learning organizations, virtual organizations, and networks. Prerequisite: either B A 501 or MGMT 500.
