Music Pedagogy I

This course welcomes teacher candidates from all academic backgrounds to become reacquainted with their inner musician, appraise music as vital to the human experience, discover the principles and values of music education, explore the development and learning of students in music instruction and curriculum, acquire basic tools toward musical literacy, and assess the benefits of music education while investigating barriers to equitable access. (This is an experiential learning course.)
